The Hydraulically Actuated Vertical Lift System offers a unique blend of space saving and towering beauty. Designed to lift open, straight up, within the incorporated mounting frame, the Vertical Lift System offers a solution which projects neither to the exterior, nor to the interior, eliminating any conflicts with both exterior awnings or furniture, and any interior HVAC, lighting or fire suppression.
Available in custom sizes from counter-top application to two-story atriums, the Vertical Lift System provides an impressive visual statement supported by well-engineered operation.
For additional security or extreme negative wind pressures within the structure, automatic, electrically-actuated locks are available for securing the system panels to the frame.
24v DC Battery Back-Up System
In the event of a power-outage, the system may be manually lowered. We can provide an optional 24v DC battery back-up system.
The motor/power unit may be located anywhere within the building – Close proximity to the hydraulic door or window is not necessary.
Choose from a standard up/down, 2-button, or key control for system operation. A weather-resistant control is also available. All controls are constant contact.
Infrared photo eyes or a lead-edge sensor are available, to either stop, or stop and reverse the motion of the door or window. Optional warning horn and strobe light indicate system operation.
Remote Transmitters offer ease of entry upon approach. Transmitters are constant contact. For safety reasons, we require either photo eyes or a lead-edge sensor with remote transmitters.
For turn-key products, we offer our glass retainer system (glass stops) and a variety of dual or single pane glazing options. All factory-supplied glass is laminated for safety. Customers may also elect to provide a virtually unlimited number of inserts such as polycarbonate, steel or wood, to name just a few.
Beyond our standard RAL powder coat finish catalogue, our products may be shipped with a custom-color designed specifically for your project, or manufactured from stainless steel, available for corrosive environments (seaside or pool house installations). Stainless systems may be powder-coated as well.
