Controls
Standard system operation is via brushed aluminum, wall-mounted control switch, available as 2-button or key operation, in clear or black anodized finish. All controls are constant contact.
Safety
Safe operation of your Crown System is of paramount importance. Infrared photoelectric or a lead-edge pressure sensors are available for purchase. Either option is designed to halt and reverse the downward motion of the Crown System when tripped.
Where audio/visual warning is required, an optional strobe/sounder indicates system operation.
Remote Operation
Remote Transmitters offer ease of entry upon approach. Transmitters are constant contact. For safety reasons, we require either photo eyes or a lead-edge sensor with remote transmitters.
Cladding
For turn-key products, we offer our glass retainer system (glass stops) and a variety of dual or single pane glazing options. All factory-supplied glass is laminated for safety. Customers may also elect to provide a virtually unlimited number of inserts such as polycarbonate, steel or wood, to name just a few.
Finish
Crown Doors finishes each of our projects right here, in factory, using our state-of-the-art powder-coat facility, and our custom-design mantra follows through to our finish options as well – A full array of standard, non-standard, and custom colors are available, with few exceptions. We maintain a small list of customer-favorite colors as “standards,” though virtually any “non-standard” or entirely custom finish options are available (may affect cost and lead time).
Additionally, projects may be manufactured from stainless steel, available for corrosive environments (seaside or pool house installations). Stainless systems may be powder-coated as well.
