The SST Access System™ works during power interruptions. The door can be opened, closed, and locked with the battery backup system. With fewer moving parts there is less maintenence.

Safe

NO MORE CABLES OR STRAPS! The SST Access System™ has no moving parts on the bottom half of the door (no cables, straps, chains or sprockets to fail ) and cannot be opened beyond its limits. The hydraulic cylinders keep the door captured at all times to prevent sudden wind gusts from lifting the door off its rollers or completely "over the roof"! The hydraulic system and controls can be mounted in any convenient location, meeting or exceeding all applicable electric code requirements and removing electrical spark issues.

Fast

The SST Access System's™ powerful hydraulic system safely opens or closes up to two times faster than old technology bifold doors. Energy loss in the cold of winter or the heat of summer can be significant with a slower, old technology bi-fold door.
